The brief: The aim of this project was to create something based off research I had conducted within my first year of university.
I decided to focus on Anchors, this is a special part of Portsmouth history and was a very interesting project to research and create something out of.
I created a range of postcards based on anchors that are from Portsmouths sailing history. I created the illustrations based on the actual anchors used on ships like the Mary Rose and HMS Warrior. The concept of this design is to encourage people to learn more Portsmouth naval history.
